A young blacksmith prepares some weapons for an upcoming battle in his camp, but has trouble finding his best friend when the enemy clan attacks early.

This animated short was my senior thesis at Temple University. "Crossing Swords: Hilt" was awarded Best Animation at the Temple University BFA/BA Masterclass Screening. This film is part 1 of 2.

A young mouse is training with her new swords-master on the Isle of the Rabbits. She is struggling to keep up and is very nervous that her training will come to an end when an old, well-respected swordsman comes to visit.

This animated short is the sequel to "Crossing Swords: Hilt", my senior thesis film at Temple University.

A young mouse is preparing to spar with a skilled, gruff swordsman and tries to remember advice that her new master has given her. But when the swordsman starts insulting her old master, she has to find a way to improve quickly or risk getting distracted by him.

In collaboration with Finn Powers, I have been starting to develop a concept for an animated series.

Set in the small kingdom of The Burrowdowns, where all the people are woodland animals; Heir of the Burrowdowns follows a young mouse named Lucia, who was found on the bank of the river by her adopted mole parents, Mortimer and Marlene. As Lucia comes of age, the truth of her heritage threatens the entire kingdom, as the Usurper Queen Anna Albyn seeks to ensure her reign by eliminating the last of the original bloodline.

A fantasy adventure for both older children and adults, Heir of the Burrowdowns is structured as a journey across a kingdom, visiting the many corners of the world and interacting with the many animals and cultures that call it home.

A current project of mine is testing out some techniques I have learned in stage combat classes and transferring that knowledge and those skills into motion capture.

Collaborating with the Center for Immersive Media at University of the Arts as well as Finn Powers (student) and Alex Cordaro (staff), this project was a continuous effort towards exploration until the University's closure.
